We keep our policies transparent so we can focus on fun once we hit the water.

North Carolina Fishing Licenses

  • Who Needs One: Anyone aged 16 or older who plans to fish must hold a valid license.
  • Who Can Skip It: Sightseeking, photography, or cruise-only guests do not need a license.
  • How to Get It: Purchase an NC Inland Fishing License online via the NC Wildlife Resources Commission.

Game Planning & Meeting Spots

  • Custom Strategy: Our captain selects the optimal boat ramp based on your target species and water conditions.
  • Arrival Directions: We will contact you before your trip to confirm the exact launch ramp and driving directions.

Punctuality & Timing

  • Departure: The charter clock begins exactly at your scheduled booking time.
  • Late Arrivals: Arriving late will shorten your duration, as we often have back-to-back bookings.
  • Pro-Tip: Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for loading your gear.

Arrival & Cancellation Policy

  • Grace Period: We will wait at the dock for up to 1 hour past your scheduled start time.
  • Communication: Please call or text us if your group is running late.
  • No-Show Policy: If 1 hour passes without communication, the trip is canceled, the deposit is forfeited, and a $100 fee is billed to cover captain time.

Weather Safety

  • Lightning: Your safety is our absolute priority. If lightning impacts the area, we will cancel or reschedule. If a storm develops while on the water, the captain will make the call to return to the dock immediately.
  • Rain: We fish and cruise in the rain! Unless conditions are freezing or unsafe, a light rain will not stop your charter. Please dress for the weather.

While we cannot guarantee that wildlife will pose or fish will bite, we do guarantee you will use top-tier equipment guided by deep local knowledge to give you the absolute best odds possible.
