4. Property Boundary & Livestock Fencing: Bores uniform lines of holes for wood or pipe fence lines across wide acreages to secure cattle, horses, or property borders.
5. Deck, Pergola & Pole Barn Footings: Drills deep structural piers ready for poured concrete or structural support posts for outdoor construction.
6. Orchard & Large Tree Planting: Bores clean, loosened 12-inch holes that perfectly house root-balls for new fruit trees, privacy hedges, or sapling windscreens.

 Mandatory Land Preparation & Access Requirements

To ensure a safe drilling operation and protect buried lines, the following site guidelines must be met before drilling begins:

• Underground Utility Clearance (Strictly Mandatory): Because this auger plunges 3 feet deep, the target zone must be completely cleared by your local 811 “Call Before You Dig” locator service at least 72 hours prior to our arrival. We will not drop the auger into any unverified soil where power, gas, or communication lines could be hidden.
• Surface Cleaning & Obstacle Removal: The customer must clear the direct drilling path of heavy logging chains, thick tangled fence wire, loose boulders, and low stumps that could tangle the PTO shaft or fracture the auger blades.
• Exact Hole Location Marking: All desired hole locations must be clearly marked out by the client beforehand using bright marking paint, wire flags, or safety stakes so our operator can navigate directly from point to point seamlessly.

 Operational Limitations

• Not a Rock Breaker: While it easily chews through hard clay, loose gravel, and root-filled topsoil, it is not a solid rock drill. It cannot penetrate continuous solid granite ledge or heavy underground concrete deposits.
• Wet Mud Restrictions: We cannot operate the post hole digger in soup-like, waterlogged mud or marshlands. Saturated soil loses its structural walls, causing holes to instantly cave back in on themselves as the auger is extracted.
• No Severe Angles: The digger requires the tractor to be parked relatively flat. We cannot safely drill straight vertical holes on extreme, steep hillsides or severe retaining wall drop-offs.
